Necia Brounty, M.S., CCC-SLP
Certified Licensed Speech Language Pathologist who has over 45 years of combined experience with adults and children of all ages. Necia specializes in the treatment of Dysphagia and Cognitive-Communication disorders caused by developmental disabilities or affected by a variety of medical conditions. Necia has over 30 years of experience providing the clinical supervision of SLPAs, graduate students completing their masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology; as well as the mentoring of new graduates who must complete a 9 month Clinical Fellowship Program for ASHA certification.
Marissa Ponti, M.S., CCC-SLP
Certified Licensed Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist who has been in the field of Speech Language Pathology for 10 years. Marissa obtained her Master of Science in Communicative Disorders from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM. Marissa has combined experience working with adults and children of all ages. Marissa specializes in the areas of Augmentative Alternative Communication, Bilingual Speech Therapy and Pediatric Speech and Language disorders. During her free time, Marissa enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
At Speech Pathology Consultant Services, we provide individualized and evidence-based speech therapy services for children and adults. Our approach is centered around helping our clients achieve their communication goals and improve their quality of life.
We offer a range of speech therapy services for both children and adults, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for various speech disorders, language disorders, and communication difficulties. We also treat Dysphagia, and cognitive-communication disorders.
We provide evaluations for those requiring Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) or Speech-Generating Devices. We work with insurance or the state to obtain a device, and we provide in-home training.
We are available to provide remote and in-person supervision to Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants, graduate students, and Clinical Fellowship SLPs. A workshop and materials can be made available to help enhance learning and skills.
We provide professional development, continuing education opportunities and trainings for Speech-Language Pathologists, Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants, Clients, Families and Caregivers.
